Spam

I hate to do this because it means inconvenience for trusted users but this blog is being inundated with so much spam recently that I must enable the anti-spam thingy.

Cheers from me and Buddy.

PS: Punxsutawney Phil saw his shadow on Groundhog Day Tuesday, which means six more weeks of winter.

Boo you spreader of bad news. Wonder why your getting so much spam. I have not gotten more than one or two all year. But then you always posts such 'stimulating' subjects....!

I had to do the same thing and I hated to do it.

Sir Wally Raleigh did not see his shadow - so perhaps our spring will come early. I surely hope so!

Phil can't help but see his shadow. Think of all those cameras and lights aimed at him.

Warm hugs to both you and Buddy.

Sorry about all the spam...it's very frustrating I know. You do what you have to do Chancy.

Oh, six more weeks of winter...thanks a lot Phil.

Hugs to you and Buddy. ~Joy

Chancy--Fortunately, TypePad gives one the option of closing one's blog to search engines, which I did when I first started blogging (and have continued to do). I don't think I've ever been hit by a spammer. I suspect that most of the spam is caused by idiots who use Google or some other search engine to get to you.

As to your word verification, much as I hate Blogger for other reasons, their word verification words are nearly always something I can read. That's a statement that I cannot make for TypePad. I just don't comment on people who turn on the verification on TypePad.
Sorry that you've been hit. It must be aggravating!
Cop Car
P.S. And after writing all of that, I forgot to input the word that Blogger gave me to input for commenting on your posting. Aaarghh!

Hang in there you snowbound people. Phil is often wrong.

I have my fingers crossed about Spam. So far, so good.
